Workshop - for leaders, full crisis management teams & team members
Managing a permanent crisis
It is still unknown when the crisis is over. As the crisis continues its impact is getting deeper and becomes more complex. Negative scenarios are multiplying, as initiatives for permanent solutions are delayed, postponed or cancelled altogether. By now, the crisis is an ordeal for your organisation, regardless if you are a NGO, company or government organisation. You will need to get into the breach countless times before it is over. How can you continue, and still succeed?
Managing a permanent crisis is a different game, but it isn’t a new game. New questions are arising: when will the crisis end? How do we handle crisis fatigue, for one more year? How do you let people know that we are not out of the woods yet - without extinguishing hope. And how will the rest of the organisation react, when they realise that it is far from over?
This workshop enables participants to work with methods that are universal and can be applied to different facets of a crisis. During the training, participants will be introduced to methods and standard approaches to manage a prolonged crisis. Plus, we will introduce interactive scenarios to illustrate key points; learn how to prepare for, and respond to, a prolonged crisis.
The course is facilitated by a crisis management expert, James Lythe from Marquard Consulting.
